He’s here!
Tyrell and I were happy to see Angelo as he arrived last night. It is good to have him here with us again! We are going to talk through his schedule while he is here this morning (after he wakes up!). We have a lot of follow-up to do with the ministry sites from last week’s project. And of course we want to give him a chance to see the folks he worked with in February.
This afternoon we have to go to the new airport in Santo Domingo to pick up mail for the missionaries in Santiago. Usually we receive it right here in Santiago but there is a problem with customs right now which has meant that every week one of us has to drive down to the capital to pick it up. It is a pretty ride so that won’t be a problem and this airport is on the north side so we don’t have to go into the city which lessens our travel time.
Some things in the works… Friday night we are going to have a BBQ (yes, the porkchops again!) for our DOminican team that helped with this past project. It is important to celebrate work well done and we also need to get together to talk through the follow-up. We have gone from three ministries to seven, plus our friends from La Joya that have the blessing of having their own pastor. We still work with them and try to help out as they need us.
Pastor Ramon’s wife, Ingrid, has a birthday today and may be going in to the clinic for a procedure tomorrow and would stay two nights at least. Keep them in your prayers!
Cool Spring folks… your flags are being prepared to send to you soon…
it is soooo cool to know that right after we leave tyrel and angelo will be there so the working will never stop….7 locations…wow that is so exciting to think of all that God can do with those locations…especially in guribito, the place i fell in love with and really saw the possibility of a solid bible study:D….oh Marsha i constntly pray for you and all the seeds we planted! Thank you soo much Marsha for everything you do for us while we are there and for the Dominicans year round. You make our trips run so smoothly, even when something unexpected happens, like someone getting sick. Since i didn’t get sick this year, the trip was a completely different experience for me. i got to experience so much more than i did last year, and i’m so glad. i’m so excited to hear about everything that goes on with tyrel and angelo there! it’s so cool that everything that happened while we were there is being continued through them so soon after we left. i can’t wait to hear about all the progress that is made, especially with the leaders we worked with and the new locations! i’m praying for you and the Dominicans all the time and so are so many other people from cool spring.
love in Christ
Marsha,
Thanks so much for all you did for us in the DR. The trip was such a blessing. I am keeping you in my prayers. Keep up the amazing work, and remember how awesome our God is!

Marsha—
I just wanted to let you know you are daily in my prayers–we miss all of you there so much–but know the Lord is with you in all you are doing–it is so amazing and exciting to hear about all that is happening there—God’s plan is going full force…and I will pray for the people to minister, the energy and time to fit all the site follow-ups in–and for an overflow of leaders to guide the Bible studies and churches. Thank you for your special care with my “eye” problem. I am seeing my doctor and it is healing more each week. Please send love and prayers to Pastor Ramon/Victor and Paula/and all our friends at GuayaCanal. As you heard the share service was full of the Spirit–and I think many were touched to maybe go next year…keep us in your prayers that we can bring more next year—Thank YOU for your dedication to Christ–and to the Dominican people. Many of us are still there in our hearts….. Wendy
